Who am I?

My name is Roger Howard. I am a retired schoolmaster living in Lincolnshire. I was first introduced to the Cambridge Platonists by T.R. Langley, when I was an undergraduate at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. As a young man I was a doctoral student working on Smith under the supervision of C.A. Patrides at the University of York. When I retired, I returned to my interest in Smith’s writing, and set about trying to prepare an edition which was accessible to the modern reader. This is the result
